Previewance, by Unauthorized Type, is a free distorted display font with a sharp, uneasy rhythm. The letters feel stretched and windblown, with narrow strokes, hooked points, and wavering curves that give the alphabet a spiky, almost fantasy-era silhouette rather than a clean geometric one.
It works well for poster titles, album art, game logos, event flyers, and zine covers where a free font can carry mood before the words are even read. Because the forms bend and taper so dramatically, it also suits short headlines, title cards, and monogram-like initials that need a strange, slightly sinister presence.

This initial version includes all normal characters, plus a few extras.
I was'nt really sure what this font would be good for when I created it, but some people wrote e-mail that said it looked letters at the bottom of a pool. Write a bolck of text in blue letters and see if you can understand. As time goes by, and my skills increase, better fonts will be released. Probably as freeware.
