Author's note

Prinks by Vered Gilad Friedman is a free eroded slab serif display font with broad, forceful letters and a battered print texture. Ragged edges, missing patches, and scattered ink-like flecks make the forms look stamped, scraped, and slightly unruly.

Grunge music is the clearest reference, especially for posters and event graphics. The same distressed surface can give streetwear packaging or game artwork a rough, physical quality instead of a clean digital finish. Across these uses, the broken letterforms function almost like printed texture, tying type to scuffed photographs, photocopied images, and worn industrial graphics.
