Prison Walls by S. John Ross is a free trash display font with a raw, hand-painted look that feels scrawled across a concrete surface. The letters are broad, battered, and uneven, with thick brushy strokes, ragged edges, and scraped-out gaps that give the whole font a restless, improvised rhythm.
It works well for zines, punk flyers, album covers, horror title cards, and poster headlines where a free font should feel blunt rather than polished. Because the caps read like fast paint or marker dragged under pressure, it also suits protest graphics, gritty branding, and short cover lines that need a rough human shove instead of a neat display style.
