Author's note

Problems 4 by Jeroen Kant is a free digital display font with broad, rounded letters cut by evenly repeated gaps. Broken strokes give the capitals a coded, signal-like texture, and several shapes reduce familiar forms to simple arches and bars.

Technology and electronic music are its clearest territory, especially for game graphics, event posters, and album artwork. The segmented pattern can become a recognizable device for software branding and electronics packaging, making lettering part of the product identity.
