Author's note
Prociono CF by Barry Schwartz of The Crud Factory is a free high-contrast serif with a formal, bookish air. Tall letters combine fine hairlines, swelling curves, and crisp wedge-shaped serifs. The rounded forms are generous, but the silhouette stays poised and slightly narrow.
Readers of literary fiction and history are a natural audience for its measured, old-world manner. It can shape book covers and editorial features, and the pronounced stroke changes also suit restaurant branding. Its calligraphic construction connects these uses with literature, archival subjects, and traditional craft.
