Author's note

Proliferation by Louis Rigaud is a free pixel display font built from stark rectangular modules. Rigid right angles, broad slabs, and oversized square openings define the letters. The severe, architectural shapes unmistakably recall low-resolution screens and early arcade graphics.

Technology and retro gaming are its clearest subjects, making it useful for game interfaces, electronic music posters, and software branding. Its block-built forms can echo circuit diagrams or tiled artwork, turning the lettering into part of the graphic concept. In editorial design, it suits magazine features on digital history and early computing culture.
