Prosto Font

Prosto by Pavel Emelyanov and Jovanny Lemonad is a free geometric sans serif with broad capitals and a clean, assertive silhouette. Its mostly even strokes, open spacing, and rounded lowercase forms are offset by sharper cuts in letters such as the uppercase M and lowercase f.

As a display face, it can give event posters and music artwork the direct impact of custom lettering. The generous width also suits sports branding and merchandise, where simple shapes can hold their own beside badges, stripes, or photography. It is most convincing in prominent titles, where the mix of circular curves and firm verticals creates a crisp, contemporary word shape.

This font was created during a six-month collaboration between designers Jovanny Lemonad and Pavel Emelyanov in Russia. Pavel Emelyanov initiated the project and served as its chief designer. He worked with his mentor, Ivan Gladkikh, also known as Jovanny Lemonad, who provided technical expertise to finalize the font.

This collection of libre fonts was created by designers who permit everyone to use, share, modify, and improve the fonts free of charge. Financial contributions are accepted from people who wish to support the project, including those who are not designers. All funds are transferred to support cancer treatment for children.
