Author's note

ProtoSans01 by Roman Gornitsky is a free geometric techno display font built from spare, squared strokes. Its monoline letters use right angles, open joins, and almost no curves, producing a schematic look reminiscent of early computer lettering.

Its stripped-back techno style is well suited to electronic music graphics and science-fiction publishing. The same modular forms can shape software branding and game interfaces when a project needs lettering that resembles a constructed system. It is strongest on electronic music posters.
