ProtoSans05 by Roman Gornitsky is a free modular geometric sans serif built from carefully squared forms, open joins, and firm, even strokes with almost no modulation. Its recurring right angles recall an early digital display.
Technology branding is its most convincing setting, particularly for electronics, software, or experimental media with a deliberately engineered aesthetic. The rigid geometry also suits poster titles, album packaging, and science-fiction publishing, since the letters read almost like assembled parts from a schematic.
