ProtoSans06 by Roman Gornitsky is a free geometric techno display font built from squared, near-monoline strokes. Its letters use open joins, hard right angles, and broad rectangular forms that recall early computer graphics. The construction is spare and deliberate.
Digital graphics are a natural setting for its screen-like geometry, especially interface themes and technology event posters. Packaging for electronics or experimental music can use the same modular forms to suggest controls, circuits, and machine labels, while game design gains an immediate science-fiction reference. Those recurring gaps and cropped-looking joins can become part of an interface or circuit-board motif rather than serving as ordinary lettering.
