ProtoSans13, designed by Roman Gornitsky, is a free geometric techno display font built from stark rectangular forms. Its even strokes, squared curves, and open construction give the lowercase lettering the look of a modular electronic alphabet.
A technology event poster is its most convincing setting, where the rigid geometry can echo grids, circuitry, and screen graphics. It also fits electronic music packaging and game interfaces. In editorial design, the same machine-cut forms can establish a clear futuristic theme for magazine section titles and feature openers.
