ProtoSans20 by Roman Gornitsky is a free techno display font built from stark, rectangular strokes. Its squared letters have rigid corners, open gaps, and box-like inner spaces that recall an early screen alphabet. The construction is blunt and mechanical.
Technology branding and electronic arcade event graphics are very different jobs, yet both suit the font's modular, machine-made form. That same block structure can shape album covers and game interfaces, especially when a project draws on retro digital hardware. Beside pixel art, circuit patterns, or grid-based icons, the lettering can become part of the interface imagery rather than a neutral caption.
