Author's note

Psaltir, by SoftUnion Ltd. with lettering by N. Vsesvetskii and Vukova Slova added by Nikola Kovanovic, is a free medieval Cyrillic display font with a solemn, liturgical air. The letters are tall and compressed, built from dark vertical strokes, sharp wedge-like tops, and fine inner striping that gives the whole design the feel of carved church lettering rather than everyday type.

It suits book covers, cultural posters, title cards, sacred music programs, and museum graphics where a free font can carry an old Slavic mood without looking generic. Use it for short headings, initials, or monogram-like marks, because those elongated forms and decorative interiors do their best work when the lettering has room to act like an emblem.
