Author's note

Punched Out by Tobias Sommer is a free outlined display font built from squared tubular letterforms. The broad contours are interrupted by rounded joints and narrow bridges, giving the lettering an assembled mechanical silhouette. Fine dashed inset lines suggest stitching, perforation, or a cut-and-fold template.

Its diagram-like construction connects with schematics and modular patterns, fitting technology posters and game graphics. It also suits experimental music packaging. On merchandise and event branding, the connected outlines can become circuit or pipework illustrations rather than ordinary lettering.

This font is a set of cut-out layouts for constructing three-dimensional (3D) pixel-style letters. All layouts are intended to be compatible.

Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dotted lines, apply glue to the shaded flaps, and assemble the pieces.
