Author's note

Punk'snotdead is a free distressed punk display font by Eduardo Recife, created in 2001 with the raw energy of photocopied gig graphics. Irregular block letters, battered edges, scuffed surfaces, and overlapping forms give the font a cut-and-paste rhythm that feels deliberately unruly.

Its scraped texture creates immediate friction in gig posters and record sleeves, where clean typography would feel too restrained. Use this free font for skate graphics, underground magazine mastheads, protest flyers, and rebellious apparel branding when the design needs to echo DIY print culture rather than polished commercial lettering.
