Author's note

Purge, a free pixel-display font by Xero Harrison, has the rough-edged snap of early screen lettering. The letters feel deliberately blocky and reduced, with chunky curves, square notches, and a low-resolution rhythm that makes the digital reference clear without turning stiff.

It fits poster headlines, game-inspired branding, zine covers, title cards, and short web graphics where a free font with this clipped, bitmap attitude can do the talking fast. Because the forms are simple but not bland, Purge works best in brief, punchy settings where that coarse screen texture becomes part of the message.
