PW Serif Scratch by Peax Webdesign is a free eroded serif display font with formal high-contrast capitals, slender serifs, broad proportions, and dense diagonal hatching across the main strokes. The edges look deliberately nicked and uneven.
A heritage brewery or independent bookshop could use it to build a rough old-print identity. The engraved quality also suits theater posters, historical book covers, and folk music merchandise. Across these settings, the scratched interiors turn each letter into both type and a piece of period illustration.
