Author's note

Px Uni, created by Wouter Depaemelaere of FontStruct, is a free condensed pixel font built from stark, rigid rectangular modules. Its extremely tall letters rely on straight vertical strokes, square notches, and sharply cut interior spaces, with a severe utilitarian finish. Every visible shape is strictly angular.

Game interface design is its most convincing role, especially for score panels, level titles, and futuristic menu graphics. The narrow, mechanical forms also suit electronic music posters, technology branding, and arcade merchandise. Repeated rectangular gaps can echo circuit traces, grid patterns, and tiled game scenery, turning the lettering into part of the graphic system.
