Author's note

PXLPLZ, created by aent of FontStruct, is a free pixel font with broad, emphatic capitals and the blunt force of an early arcade title screen. Its letters alternate dense vertical strokes with large rectangular openings, and several forms use clipped notches or broken joins for an intentionally erratic pulse.

Digital graphics are its clearest home, especially game menus that benefit from an unmistakably low-resolution voice. It can also shape poster headlines, streetwear graphics, and packaging for tech-minded or retro products. The recurring cutouts and off-center gaps can echo circuit traces, screen glitches, or tiled game scenery, turning the lettering into part of the overall image.
