Author's note

Qlassik Bold by Dimitri Castrique is a free playful serif display font with broad, softly modeled letters and a distinctly hand-drawn silhouette. Thick strokes narrow into lively joins and curved endings, keeping the type amiable and slightly eccentric rather than bookish.

Food and drink branding is its strongest setting, as the rounded mass and jaunty contours suggest an independent cafe or confectionery label. It also suits book covers and event posters. Its approachable shapes also suit family audiences and creative small businesses drawn to warm, retro lettering.
