Author's note

Qlippitek abridged by Joanne Taylor is a free hand-drawn display font with tall, loose lettering and dramatically changing stroke widths. Rounded loops meet clipped angles, giving the letters a wiry, improvised profile. Its uneven joins look deliberately drawn.

Whimsical stories and offbeat characters make a setting for this style, especially in children's publishing and illustrated posters. The long curves could also suit indie music packaging or playful fashion branding, where the irregular forms suggest a personal mark rather than polished type. In editorial illustrations, the letters can bend into a figure or sign and become part of the drawing itself.
