Quadrats by Elfe (windsplite) is a free pixel display font with broad, rectilinear letters and an austere electronic look. Its wide proportions and sharply simplified forms recall early computer interfaces and futuristic control panels.
Digital graphics are its clearest setting, especially game menus and technology-themed title cards. It can also give music artwork or event posters a stark, machine-made edge. The font is strongest when the lettering itself needs to resemble a piece of screen hardware.
