Quaker Shade by Robert Fauver of Typeoloy is a free engraved display font with dramatic thick-thin strokes and an eccentric, old-fashioned silhouette. Fine striped edges make the letters resemble hand-cut prints.
Themes of antique advertising, traveling shows, and illustrated curiosities suit its carved, theatrical treatment, especially in period entertainment graphics.
