Author's note

Quart07 by Norwegian Ink, credited to International Typeface Corporation, is a free groovy display font with an unmistakably 1970s silhouette. Its massive rounded letters swell into soft curves, with tight interior cuts and occasional sharp wedges giving the forms a compact, sculpted look.

A record shop, festival, or retro clothing label could build a lively identity around these dense, bulbous shapes. The same lettering also suits album packaging and music posters, especially when the artwork draws on psychedelic patterns or pop graphics. In magazine design, it can turn a cover line into part of the illustration rather than leaving it as ordinary editorial type.
