Author's note

Quat Steel DemiBold, designed by Abdilah Reptil, is a free retro techno display font with an exceptionally tall, compressed silhouette. Its letters combine broad vertical strokes with hairline joins, squared interiors, and rounded outer turns that recall streamlined machine panels from older science-fiction films.

Designers working in electronic music, gaming, and science-fiction entertainment will find its severe proportions useful for album art, title cards, and game graphics. The narrow forms feel decidedly firm and industrial. For posters and event branding, the sharp changes in stroke width give the lettering the look of a custom-cut logo rather than ordinary typesetting.
