Author's note

Quattrocento Roman by Pablo Impallari is a free old-style serif font with stately proportions and pronounced stroke contrast. Its gently cupped serifs, rounded shoulders, and open lowercase forms lend the lettering a classical bookish quality, yet the shapes remain crisp rather than delicate.

That combination suits literary publishing and museum graphics, where a measured historical note feels appropriate, as well as refined food packaging and hospitality branding. In editorial work, it can give feature headings and pull quotes the authority of traditional type without appearing severe. Its natural audience is designers working with cultural, culinary, or heritage subjects that benefit from calm, formal lettering.
