Author's note

QuentinCaps, by Typographer Mediengestaltung, is a free Western caps display font with the swagger of old saloon lettering. The letters lean on tall, narrow forms, heavy black fill, and a bright inset line, while the curling tops and blunt feet give the alphabet that unmistakable frontier poster feel.

It fits naturally into rodeo flyers, whiskey labels, festival posters, title cards, and bold cover lines, where a free font with this much period flavor can carry the whole mood fast. Because the caps are packed with contrast and ornamental turns, QuentinCaps also works for short logos, monograms, and drop caps that need a stamped, nineteenth-century showbill voice.
