Que Rompa by Lee Batchelor is a free comic display font with a lively, off-kilter silhouette. Its letters swing between fine lines and broad black strokes, with sharp wedges and swollen curves changing shape from one character to the next. The uneven silhouettes look theatrical and unruly.
Comedy and noisy music suit its restless drawing, making it a strong fit for posters and event graphics. Food packaging and band merchandise can use the forms as part of an illustrated label or mascot design. In editorial design, it suits humorous section openers or cover lines with the rough timing of a hand-cut cartoon title.
