Author's note

Racana, Joan M. Mas's free sketchy brush script, looks like lettering worked over several times with a restless pen, leaving wiry overlaps and loose loops behind. The letters feel casual and hand-drawn rather than polished, with uneven strokes and a lively wobble that gives the alphabet a raw notebook energy.

It fits posters, indie music sleeves, zines, cafe menus, and handmade packaging where a free font can carry an informal, human voice without turning sweet. Because the linework keeps doubling back on itself, Racana also works well for short cover lines, title cards, and logo-style wordmarks that need a scribbled, in-the-moment feel.
