Author's note

Ramo Caps by Ouripedes Gallene is a free medieval initials font built from ornate capitals. Broad blackletter forms are packed with curling leaves, teardrop cutouts, dotted borders, and patterned inner spaces, giving each letter the look of a hand-carved or illuminated ornament.

Medieval history, folklore, and fantasy are the clearest subjects for this lettering, especially in book covers and event posters. It can also lend period detail to game graphics and packaging, where a single capital can function like a decorative badge. The repeating vines and leaf shapes connect with manuscript-style borders, heraldic illustrations, and botanical ornament.
