Author's note

Reaver Italic by Rob Barba of Megami Studios is a free groovy display font with broad, slanted letters and a distinctly liquid silhouette. Rounded outer shapes meet scooped inner cuts, giving the lettering the soft, molded look of 1970s graphics.

It can turn lettering into a compact retro emblem. That makes it especially convincing for music branding, festival posters, skate merchandise, and playful drink packaging, where the dense curves can echo blobs, waves, or illustrated lettering. In editorial design, it is best suited to feature openers and cover lines about vintage culture, record collecting, or other subjects that welcome an unmistakably period-styled voice.

Description
Reaver is my attempt to create a horror or bestial font that doesn't conform to the traditional sterotypes of either. A few have called it Geigeresque, and an earlier name for this font - Chupacabra - also inspired.

If you do use it, drop me a line at rob@megamistudios.com. I'd like to see where it pops up!
