Regula Old Face by Frantisek Storm is a free distressed serif display font with broad, old-style forms and rough, ink-bitten edges. Its uneven strokes recall a weathered hand press.

That aged print character makes convincing book covers and posters, especially for literary, historical, or folk subjects. On packaging, the blunt serifs and mottled edges can suggest an old shop label rather than a polished digital mark.
