Author's note

Republik by Margaret Nichol of FontStruct is a free modular techno display font built from broad rectangular strokes and sharply cut gaps. Its low, extended letterforms resemble segmented signage, with repeated horizontal bars and squared openings giving the lettering a distinctly engineered profile.

A gaming studio or electronics brand could use it for a stark, machine-made identity, especially in logos and digital graphics. The same block construction fits music posters and science-fiction packaging, where the broken strokes can echo circuit paths, control panels, or industrial markings. In those settings, the letters can become part of an interface or technical emblem rather than functioning as ordinary text.
