Resurgence by Tom Murphy 7 is a free trash handwritten font with a raw, paint-marker feel. The letters look quick and uneven, with lanky strokes, open loops, and a slightly twitchy rhythm that keeps it scrappy rather than polished.
It fits zines, band flyers, poster headlines, mixtape covers, and rebellious brand graphics where a clean font would feel too controlled. As a free font, it also works for title cards, pull quotes, and short packaging names, because the loose lines and wobbling shapes give even a few words a restless, DIY charge.
