Retro Supermarket is a free decorative outline display font with broad, upright capitals and a sturdy slab-serif frame. The open interiors keep the lettering lighter than its large proportions suggest, and slight variations in the contours give it the character of hand-painted shop signage.
A grocery or diner identity is its most convincing setting, especially for storefront graphics and packaging that draw on mid-century commercial lettering. Its outlined forms also suit event posters and food-themed merchandise, where the letters can function as signboard imagery rather than ordinary copy.
