Retro Town Serif by Mostafa El Abasiry is a free Celtic display font with stout, dark letterforms and a playful pub-sign flavor. Rounded shoulders meet squared edges, and small wedge-shaped cuts sharpen several joins. The proportions are broad and emphatic.
It is especially convincing for tavern branding, where the chunky silhouettes suggest a carved or painted sign. Festival posters and beverage packaging also suit its mix of old-world ornament and cheerful informality. In those settings, the lettering can become part of an emblem alongside shields or banners.
