Author's note

Revista by Inaki Saiz Roiz is a free eroded display font built from mismatched, roughly printed serif capitals. The uneven edges, chipped surfaces, and shifting proportions recall letters cut from old newspapers and pasted together by hand.

Its blocky, collage-like forms can become part of torn-paper illustration rather than sitting apart as ordinary text. That approach suits music posters and magazine covers, where the distressed print adds an immediate punk or underground reference, and it can also give merchandise graphics the look of a handmade protest placard. Revista is especially convincing for independent labels, bands, and arts events seeking the rough directness of photocopied ephemera.
