Author's note

Rhalina by Daniel Zadorozny of Iconian Fonts is a free calligraphic script with extravagant loops and sharply changing stroke widths. Tall, sweeping forms give the lettering a theatrical silhouette, and compact joins create a lively, tangled texture.

It can lend romantic fashion branding and whimsical children's publishing the same sense of hand-drawn spectacle. The curls also suit invitations, music posters, and boutique packaging. In illustrated work, the long flourishes can echo ribbons, vines, or curling strands of hair.
