Author's note

Richmond by Saji Johnny Kundukulam is a free futuristic display font with a stark, angular build. Its tall capitals shift between narrow and broad proportions, producing an uneven mechanical cadence across a line. Sharp diagonal cuts and squared curves make the lettering resemble custom panels or fabricated signage.

Digital graphics are an especially fitting medium, since the open shapes and abrupt joins evoke stripped-back interface lettering. The same industrial edge suits science-fiction posters, electronic music artwork, and branding for gaming hardware. Used with circuit patterns or architectural illustrations, the letters can become part of the depicted machinery rather than merely labeling it.
