Author's note

Rickshaw, from Atech Software, is a free chop-suey display font with the jaunty, cut-paper rhythm of vintage Chinese restaurant lettering. The letters lean on sharp wedges, split strokes, and exaggerated angles, so the alphabet feels lively and a little theatrical rather than formally calligraphic.

It fits naturally in retro takeout branding, poster headlines, menu covers, novelty packaging, and title cards that want that familiar storefront mood; because the shapes are bold and quirky, it also works for short monograms or drop caps. As a free font, Rickshaw is best used where that stylized East-meets-main-street flavor is the point, not as a neutral all-purpose text choice.
