Author's note

Ringey, created by Sean Ringey of Partly Cloudy Media, is a free handwritten display font with the loose pull of a felt-tip pen. Uneven stroke widths, open shapes, and slightly wandering forms give the letters a quick, personal quality without looking overly rough.

It can turn a food label or cafe poster into something that feels sketched directly onto the design. The lettering also suits event graphics and merchandise, especially when a friendly handmade note is wanted. Its lively curves are particularly at home in children's publishing and illustrated stories.
