Author's note

RioGrande Bold by Anton Krylov of Inked Font Customs is a free outlined Western display font with broad, slab-like letters. Layered inner lines and small notches give the sturdy forms the carved, decorated look of saloon signage.

Frontier themes make it a natural fit for rodeo posters and country music merchandise. Its oversized shapes can also lend barbecue packaging a lively period reference. In publishing, it is best suited to cover lettering for Western stories and cowboy-themed children's books.
