Rivanna by Nick Curtis is a free Art Nouveau display font with tall, narrow letters and dramatic changes in stroke width. Its curves stretch into pointed, leaflike forms. The lettering feels elegant but slightly eccentric, recalling ornamental posters and shop signs from the turn of the century.
Fashion branding and theater posters can both draw on its elongated silhouette, one for refinement and the other for spectacle. It also fits perfume packaging and editorial covers with a historical or fantastical theme. Across these uses, the repeated tapering strokes make the words function almost like drawn ornament.
