Roadgeek 2005 Icons Font
Author's note
Roadgeek 2005 Icons by Michael D. Adams is a free transportation dingbat font built from solid road and rail symbols. Directional arrows, vehicles, and sign-like forms share broad strokes and simplified contours. The silhouettes are blunt and recognizable.
Signage is its most convincing medium, since the compact symbols can become route markers, warning graphics, or wayfinding elements. Maps and transit guides gain a direct highway vocabulary, and driving manuals can use the same pictorial approach. It is best suited to transport information modeled on official roadside symbols.
