Author's note

Rocky Shore by Kevin Christopher of KC Fonts is a free outlined Western display font with rough, hand-hewn edges. Its broad slab serifs and uneven inner lines recall painted frontier signs and old circus bills. The wobble is deliberate and lively.

A saloon-themed poster is its clearest assignment, especially for events with a frontier setting. It also suits barbecue packaging, country music merchandise, and playful restaurant signage because the distressed contours resemble lettering cut or painted by hand. Across these uses, the irregular outline turns words into rustic illustrated signs.
