Author's note

Roddy Bold by John Romero IV is a free handwritten font with the easy swagger of quick marker lettering. Its letters feel loose and personal, with tall upright strokes, broad curves, and a slightly uneven rhythm that keeps the wordmark-like flow casual rather than polished.

That makes this free font a natural fit for music flyers, skate or streetwear graphics, zine covers, poster headlines, and short packaging callouts where a human scrawl feels more right than neat script. It also works well for title cards and logo sketches, since the long verticals and open loops give brief words a clear, lively silhouette.
