Author's note

Romaji Mincho by Adrian Candela is a free Japanese-inspired display font with tall, narrow letters and crisp wedge-shaped stroke endings. Its open construction and changing line weight recall Japanese Mincho forms through a restrained, distinctly angular Latin alphabet.

Woodblock-style illustration and brush motifs make natural companions for its spare silhouette. This connection suits cultural event posters, restaurant packaging, editorial covers, and game graphics centered on Japanese history, travel, or folklore.
