Author's note

Romantha by Professor Rudolf Koch of the Koch-Memorial Project is a free high-contrast serif font with the poise of formal calligraphy. Its tall, slender letters combine sweeping curves with fine hairlines and sharply tapered serifs, creating an elegant silhouette rooted in classical book typography.

It can lend literary refinement to editorial covers and cultural event posters, yet its distinctive shapes also suit boutique branding and fragrance packaging. The pronounced stroke changes make display words feel carefully drawn rather than typeset, an asset for projects built around craft or heritage. In fashion photography or botanical illustration, the long curves can echo fabric folds and delicate stems.
