Rope5, from the Character and Embroidery Library of Character, is a free hand-drawn display font with loose, rope-like strokes. Uneven curves, changing widths, and small frayed flicks make the letters look quickly looped by hand.
Packaging is a natural setting for its rough cord texture, especially on craft goods or playful food labels. It also suits posters and music merchandise with an unruly, improvised edge. The knotted-looking bends and stray fibers can echo string, nets, or handmade line art.
