RTF Canadian Syllabics, designed by Jim Rimmer and Paul Hunt of P22/Rimmer Type Foundry, is a free hand-drawn display font with tall, loosely cut capitals. Stroke widths and angles shift, leaving the letters clearly shaped by hand rather than ruled geometry. Its broad curves feel especially fluid.
Publishing is a strong home for this lettering, especially cultural book covers and editorial features that benefit from its informal construction. The same irregular outlines connect museum posters, educational graphics, and heritage event materials through a shared sense of human-made lettering.
